What have we been up to?

Hi. Quick update on what some of us in the Economic Rights Party have been doing. Here in California I got the Equal Vote Coalition and California Approves, two voting reforms organizations, to work on my idea to lobby the CA state legislature to upgrade our voting system. Here is a snapshot of the online petition we will soon launch:

The national spotlight has been on CA’s top-two voting system due to the possibility that the only two candidates for governor on the general election ballot might be Republicans. We want to take advantage of this situation to call attention to an alternative voting method that could be used in the primary: approval voting.

Meanwhile our contact in Texas, living in the heart of MAGA/Christian nationalist territory, has a YouTube channel on politics, the economy, Christian political conservatism, and other topics of interest. Here’s a link to check it out:

That’s it for now.

Economic Rights Party slowly building

A quick update on what is happening with the ERP. (I want to say “excuse me” after writing that.) We’ve added a member in Texas who wants to find other people in the state interested in what we’re doing. With California and Oregon we have members in three states now.

Also we have plans to vote on a national committee sometime within the next year.

Stay tuned.

National chapter formed

A national chapter of the Economic Rights Party has formed with members in California and Oregon. I have taken responsibility for finding pathways to pursue our mission. As a start, I posted a video on my video channels about the party. It can be found on YouTube, Rumble, Spotify, and audio podcast channels. Click on the thumbnail below to see the YouTube video:
